The group includes all eight drafted rookies, 20 undrafted free agents and four first-year veterans. Many of the players will get evaluated, hoping to earn a roster spot. For the draft picks, it's a chance to come in get firmiliar with some of the players, coaches, drills, and plays. It's a major learning experience for all players. Players were fitted for their uniforms friday, and introduced to the playbooks. As players walk into the lockerrooms and see the lockers of players like Torry Holt, Isaac Bruce, and Leonard Little, they are in awe. "Carriker and many of his new teammates spent Friday playing the part of the awestruck kid. Tennessee cornerback Jonathan Wade said he spent about 10 minutes in front of receiver Torry Holt’s locker counting his shoes and looking on in awe. Not all sport's fans are "lazy drunk" people. I think your issue lies in that you like to stereotype groups or indviduals....it doesn't make you any wiser sounding to say what your are saying.
Not everyone can be a NFL football player so they watch their favorite teams and enjoy the sport...doesn't make them lazy! I like watching culinary challenges where there are international teams who compete with each other and yes I take pride in Team USA and look at their winning dishes and the chefs on the team....doesn't make me a lazy person just cause I like observing. NFL Draft I have no desire to become a chef. I know how hard it is to get there and to be a chef and the job enviroment but I admire the skills and art of the culinary world so I follow it..... It's no different than taking pride in your favorite band, so you think someone who loves a certain punk band and takes pride in them is a loser cause he hasn't started a band of his own? maybe that person doesn't want to be a band they just really enjoy the music and what their songs say.
It's just a fandom thing.. WE all have them. I'm sure you do too.
